Bucks County Opportunity Council is Hiring a Self Sufficiency Program Manager Near Bristol, PA

Bucks County Opportunity Council is seeking a Self Sufficiency Program Manager to manage the long-term case management services in the Economic Self Sufficiency, Family Self Sufficiency and Coaches on Campus programs. Supervises direct staff and assures quality services that include direct service to clients, file maintenance and grant compliance. Oversees supportive programs that assist families with vehicle donation program, poverty empowerment workshops, and educational scholarship opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong commitment to the mission and vision of BCOC, including embedding the Bridges Out of Poverty strategies and concepts both internally and externally
  • Direct supervision to front-line staff (ES, FSS and Coaches on Campus) at a minimum of twice monthly
  • Lead recruitment efforts for the ES program to ensure that enrollment and graduation goals are met
  • Review payment vouchers weekly
  • Ensure two Getting Ahead classes are facilitated annually
  • Assist staff in helping clients develop S.M.A.R.T. goal planning, including education and employment
  • Provide leadership on initiatives in collaboration with BCCC such as the Fresh Start training program
  • Understand grant funding and enrollment requirements and provide direct leadership to meet those requirements
  • Participate in agency leadership meetings monthly
  • Provide oversight of file maintenance to meet program/grant compliance when audited annually
  • Ensure quality data for grant reporting quarterly and/or annually
  • Complete grant reporting based on data, quarterly and/or annually
  • Assist in writing grants as needed, provide leadership to the annual ES Graduation Ceremony
  • Attend relevant collaborative meetings with other human services providers
  • Convene and plan collaborative partners as needed

Requirements:

· Masters in Social Work or a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree

· Comprehensive knowledge of community and human services resources

· Outstanding supervisory skills, relationship building, and communication

· Valid PA driver’s license and auto insurance

· Pass PA criminal, FBI fingerprint and Child Abuse clearances

Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
