Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team!
The Material Handler will be responsible for the movement, control, and storage of materials in our warehouse facility. The Material Handler is also responsible for ensuring the safety and organization of the Company’s storage areas. The Material Handler will maintain inventory of all material on hand and will communicate any material shortages in a timely manner to allow reorder and restock to facilitate smooth day to day operations. The Material Handler will also be responsible for supplying the Production department with all requested material.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receiving and distributing incoming materials to designated areas
- Inspecting materials for any damages or defects upon receipt
- Ensuring "First In First Out" method is used
- Maintaining accurate inventory records of all received items
- Organizing warehouse shelves, racks, and bins for proper storage of material in a clean and efficient manner
- Loading and unloading trucks with appropriate material handling equipment
- Performing regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records
- Organizing warehouse inventory according to warehouse plan
- Operating forklift in a safe manner to move large shipments within the facility
- Collaborating with Leads to develop efficient methods for storing goods
- Conducting inventory checks and maintaining accurate inventory records on spreadsheets (Excel)
- Maintaining storage areas and all areas assigned clean, neat, and organized
- Heavy lifting required
- Other tasks as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment: forklift/pallet jacks required
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices preferred
Please note we operate on an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS). Work hours are Monday-Thursday 7 am-5:30 pm. Friday through Sunday are days off!

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
