Buffalo County is hiring for a full-time Adult Protection Case Manager / Social Worker to work at our Courthouse located in Alma, WI
Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to provide adult protection services to at-risk adult individuals needing protection or services. Main duties of this position include conducting adult protection investigations and related activities as prescribed by applicable WI Statutes, including Chapter 46.90, 51, 54, and 55. Related activities include petitioning for and serving as court liaison for emergency protective services/placements and guardianships. Case management functions include conducting annual WATTS revies to any individuals under protective placement.
Minimum Training, Experience, and Qualifications Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:
Case Manager - Associate degree or have completed post high school course work in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, or a similar Human Services field.
Social Worker - Bachelors degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, or a similar Human Services related field; in addition to either holding a current Wisconsin Social Worker Certification or having the ability to complete the steps necessary to obtain the certification within the first two years of employment
Minimum of one year working with the target population.
Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:
Case Manager starts at $23.87 per hour (non-exempt)
Social Worker starts at $53,372.80 annually and Senior Social Worker starts at $57,387.20 annually (both are exempt)
Work Hours:
This position will work primarily from 8:00AM to 4:30PM during the week Monday through Friday. The position will be in the on-call rotation.
