Assistant Project Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team, responsible for supporting the management of construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination and construction management, utilizing construction management software to track progress and ensure successful project outcomes.
Duties:
- Assist the project management team in the planning and execution of construction projects, including reviewing blueprints and construction documents.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that construction projects meet design and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize project scheduling software, such as Primavera, to create and manage project schedules.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project reports, meeting minutes, and construction schedules.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve project efficiency and cost savings.
- Support the project management team in developing and maintaining project budgets and financial reports.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and stay up-to-date with relevant construction management software and technologies, such as Civil 3D.
Skills:
- Experience with construction site management and project coordination.
- Proficiency in construction management software, including project scheduling and management tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction documents.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with construction management software, including Primavera and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
