Workforce Division
The Workforce Division at the Buffalo Urban League seeks to create avenues for economic empowerment through educational attainment, intentional programming, skills and career readiness training, mentorship, and employment outreach services. Youth and young adults ages 14-24 have access to paid work experience opportunities with local businesses, skilled trade apprenticeships and training programs with our community partners. Through our partnership with The Buffalo Employment and Training Center (BETC), the Workforce Division also provides services to adults 18 and older who are unemployed, underemployed, dislocated workers or individuals seeking employment change
Summary:
The Case Manager provides participants with a comprehensive array of education, life skills, occupational skills training, work experience and/or internships, mentoring, case management, scholarships, and career development services to promote and support educational and/or work attainment.
