Successful candidate will possess: Experience with construction permitting, proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, strong administrative skills with high attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills. Candidate will also have the ability to intuitively solve problems and independently manage workload.
- Adept with managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, setting priorities in a fast-paced and continually changing environment.
- Understand permit procedure and inspection process to include what it takes for BUILD to successfully start and finish projects.
- Research and obtain required permit data such as plans, product approvals, applications, and surveys.
- Assist Project Managers and superintendents with permitting processes, common code issues; and provides information regarding the Building Departments procedures, policies, and functions needed for plan check and permit submittals.
- Providing a quality check on the initiation and completion of the permits ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained and informing the Project Managers and Superintendents of any potential conflicts.
- Receives, logs, routes, and tracks permits, inspections, and conditions, in addition to compiling & maintaining plans & documents filing accordingly in the BUILD shared drive and Procore.
- Establish higher level communication and relationships with local CBOs, municipality reviewers, municipality supervisors, and local AHJs.
