Summary of the role:
The job of a finance intern is to support the organization while learning about a career in finance. Finance interns gain practical experience in the constantly-growing field of finance.
What would be your day in the life at Builders?
- Generating and analyzing reports
- Assisting with state expansion filings and proformas
- Assisting with process improvements for all areas of Finance
- Organization of investment account information
- Preparing financial statements
- Organizing data in Excel with creation of pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
- Reconcile between general ledger and supporting documents
- Assisting with audits
- Assisting with AP processes and moving to a check free environment
- Assisting with various technical accounting projects
- Assisting with general ledger maintenance
Qualifications
- Highly motivated individual
- Strategic and critical thinker
- Demonstrate and develop excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication and professional skills.
- In the process of completing a Finance or Accounting degree.
