ABOUT THE ROLE
The People Operations Associate will be employed by and primarily assisting the Builders Network team but will also support People Operations needs within the Lubetzky Family Foundation.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, People & Culture, the People Operations Associate will play an important role in; sourcing and recruiting for open positions, streamlining and strengthening the hiring and onboarding process and experience, supporting the Senior Manager with general HR needs, and being a constant champion for company culture and our team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition :
a. Support the internal hiring process for all roles at a VP level and below.
b. Support hiring managers with crafting and editing job descriptions.
c. Support hiring managers with benchmarking roles based on our internal salary bands and market research.
d. Align with hiring managers on their interview process, ensuring it sets our team and the candidates up for success.
e. Own our company’s multiple Workable sites and manage all needs associated with Workable, including posting new roles, vetting incoming resumes, responding to and organizing candidates, building out each organization’s Workable homepage, etc.
f. Circulate open roles internally across organizations and ensure representation in different team newsletters as well as externally as required within our network based on the specific role.
g. Support hiring managers with candidate tracking, scheduling follow up communications throughout the interview process, and ensuring candidates have a positive experience throughout the interview process.
h. Engage in proactive recruiting and networking for open roles and future sourcing.
i. Track strong candidates in our CRM system to build out the organization’s internal talent network.
j. Work alongside the Senior Manager and Director of Operations to streamline the hiring and onboarding process and create appropriate materials to support these procedures.
k. Draft or make amendments to offer letters and utilize DocuSign as needed for proper execution.
l. Support the Senior Manager in onboarding logistics, including collecting additional signed documentation and personnel information, submitting background checks, collaborating with IT, and tracking the progress of all the onboarding steps for each new hire.
m. Work with hiring managers and Senior Manager to create cohesive onboarding schedules that allow for a positive candidate onboarding experience.
HR Generalist :
a. Become a proficient user of TriNet, our PEO system, to support with entering new hires, updating team member information, responding to team member payroll / benefits / platform questions, and generating and pulling reports to support HR and Finance.
b. Support the Senior Manager in an annual audit of all HR files; this will require organized documentation and filing throughout the year and creating a system for an annual audit to ensure we maintain proper records of all People movement / changes / updates.
c. Support the core LFF team and the Senior Manager in bi-annual team summit planning and execution.
