Job Summary

Opportunity to work with a growing, 115-year-old family business that supplies building material to the leading builders in the Charlotte market. Builders Supply Company is hiring a Window/Door Service Technician to service windows/doors/trim.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Field Service Repair of window and door issues.
• Identify product and repair parts needed to correct concerns.
• Adjust doors and windows for proper operation.
• Install window screens, windows/doors/trim as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Standard Class D driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
• Must be comfortable with basic hand tools, tape measure, impact drill, miter saw etc.
• Construction or handyman experience a plus.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently, while also taking direction from the office.
• Heavy lifting required 100-150lbs.
• Ability to work from a ladder and tolerate heights as needed.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Pay is based on an hourly rate and a yearly drivers safety bonus. Pay to be discussed during interview.

Builders Supply provides for a portion of employees' health insurance costs as well as a 2% match to a 401k plan. After 90 days we provide 8 paid holidays per year. Vacation is one week after 90 days, two weeks after three years, three weeks after five years and four weeks after fifteen years. Dental and vision care, as well as life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, are available at employee expense. Company pays 1/2 of monthly membership to the Gregory YMCA for employees.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
