Building BLOCS delivers naturalistic, play-based therapy based on the Early Start Denver Model. We provide therapy to children ages 18 months-6 years of age in an interdisciplinary setting--ABA therapists and Speech and Language Pathologists work together to assess and provide treatment to children in a fun and engaging environment. Therapy is provided in groups and individually, in home and in the center.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise ABA therapists using the Early Start Denver Model curriculum or other evidence-based treatments
• Assess client’s skills and challenging behaviors and develop appropriate treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
• Reliably track data on skills and behaviors
• Provide parent training with families to help generalize skills
• Obtain and maintain authorizations for treatment for all clients in a timely manner
• Supervise ABA Therapists to ensure treatment fidelity and optimal client progress
• Regularly analyze client data and determine if appropriate progress is being made
• Identify barriers to progress and make necessary adjustments to plan or delivery
• Train supervisees using behavioral skills training to follow plans and protocols with fidelity
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and staff

Qualifications and Skills

• Maintain necessary certification or licensure for Behavior Analysts as outlined by the BACB and/or the appropriate state licensing agencies
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification
• Pass background screening
