Laborer - Material Handler - EWP

Engineered Wood Products Material Handler. You can become part of the West Jordan EWP team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing the Engineered wood into job site specific piles to be delivered. This is a fast pace, labor intensive job who is rewarded with being the best saw crew in the company. They take pride in their numbers. Take lumber at the end of the saw, stack it, band it and put into set loads to be delivered to homes.

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds on a regular basis

At BMC, the dedicated Laborer provides labor for their location or manufacturing facility. This entry-level role includes loading, unloading, and stocking building materials. This reliable team member assists their team when needed and is committed to safety.

**Major Responsibilities:**

- Load or unload building materials and components as assigned.

- Move or stock materials in a safe fashion as assigned by supervisor.

- Follow specific instructions of direct supervisor.

- Assist other yard or manufacturing associates as required by location management.

- Operate equipment in a safe manner.

Required Skills

- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

- Ability to follow explicit instructions.

- Ability to lift up to and including 100 lbs. repetitively.

- Use tape measure other basic equipment as assigned.
