Bull River Marina in Savannah, GA is looking for one marina ship store sales associate to join our 10 person strong team. We are a family oriented marina located between downtown Savannah, GA and Tybee Island, GA. We are located on 8005 US Hwy 80 E. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

You will serve on a team whose job is to help Bull River Marina engage with all guests to create a memorable experience. You will contribute to the success of the Marina by providing outstanding customer service to all guests we encounter. By supporting our company's purpose, your top priority will be to care about our guests, and the impact we make on their lives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• You will help by providing outstanding customer service to all guests.
• When interacting with each guest, leave them with a "WOW" story to tell about their experience.
• Share customer impact stories with your team in meetings and with management.
• Accurately operate cash register including all cash and credit transactions.
• Keep professional attitude and appearance, striving for complete customer satisfaction.
• Answer phones and check out guest using courteous, professional tones.
• Have working product knowledge including charter and rental programs, apparel, and equipment.
• Maximize every sales opportunity by cross selling profitable products.
• Assist in rentals from Marina (boats, etc.)
• Ensure inventory levels are adequate and stock merchandise as needed.
• Keep stock rooms neat and orderly according to management standards.
• Maintain continuous inspection of shops for orderliness and neatness, help with cleaning opening and closing duties.
• Occasional help with getting customers set off on their excursions.
• Conduct internal audit of retail inventories.
• Maintain an even level of performance
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist and support special events at the marina.
• Assist in operations as requested by management.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

• Previous retail and cash handling experience a plus
• Ability to provide a high level of service and a memorable experience for our members.
• Basic understanding of boats or boating a plus
• Must demonstrate willingness to perform cleaning, stocking, and other duties
• MUST BE willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Bright, High-Energy, Go-Getter with excellent self-presentation.
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Capable of multi-tasking.
