Mt. Washington Elementary is seeking a collaborative Special Education Teacher. Ideal candidates will have a thorough understanding of Kentucky Academic Standards and classroom experience to effectively differentiate instruction for a diverse group of learners. We are looking for someone who loves students, has a passion for teaching and learning, values active student engagement, and maintains high expectations to foster student growth. This role involves co-teaching and co-planning with regular education teachers to best meet the needs of all students. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and experience managing related behaviors are preferred. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.Position is for the 2024-2025 school year.
