bullpen talent is Hiring a Senior Manager, FP&A and Strategic Finance (San Diego) Near San Francisco, CA

Note: this role is on-site in the client's La Jolla (San Diego) office.
Our client is a leading Cybersecurity company that is backed by some of best tech investors in the world. They are looking for an exceptional Strategic Finance and FP&A professional to join their team, work directly with the CFO across various strategic finance initiatives, board material preparation and more. This is a unique opportunity to play a highly visible and impactful role working directly with C level leadership on key corporate initiatives.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4 years’ experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Development at a tech company
  • Undergraduate degree in finance or similar
  • Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of finance
  • Strong ability to summarize financial results and analysis in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • An ownership mentality and high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across the company
  • Experience and interest in Cybersecurity and Enterprise Software a plus
THE ROLE:As a Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance & FP&A your essential responsibilities and duties include:
  • Preparing regular board and investor materials in collaboration with FP&A team, ensuring accurate and updated analysis
  • Collaborating daily with CFO on any ad-hoc analysis and required updates
  • Leading the development of comprehensive financial models to evaluate M&A, joint venture partnerships and strategic business development initiatives
  • Creating executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that clearly and accurately summarize analysis
  • Help lead and drive M&A processes including deal structuring, working with outside investment banks, due diligence processes, etc.
  • Working closely with the FP&A, IR and other teams to help improve processes and develop best practices – including across other geographies such as APAC and EMEA
THE BENEFITS:
  • Salary range between $130,000 - $170,000
