Responsibilities

• Completes on-site work and support for IT infrastructure between MSP and associated IT vendors(s):
• Carrier, Internet/WIFI, phones, Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS)
• Coordinates with MSP to support administration of:
• User accounts and access of Microsoft environment (Active Directory, MS Exchange/Outlook, MS Office)
• Coordinate support on escalated tickets
• Attends scheduled meetings with MSP or properties
• Schedules and performs regular data and systems back up
• Secures physical access to computer rooms and other relevant areas in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Attends meetings as coordinated by IT Manager and Property General Managers
• Brings needs for major repair, and or investment to the attention of the IT Manager and General Manager(s)
• Assists IT Manager with annual budget guidelines and controlling costs while maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment
• Maintaining correct user count
• Maintaining correct inventory
• Scheduling maintenance and upgrades
• Assists with creation/changes to interface from POS to financials/inventory/Payroll and Accounting departments
• Works with IT manager, hotel operations and vendor(s) to manage changes to property IT systems prior to implementation
• Manages external providers and vendors while on-site to resolve issues

• Ensures documentation, manuals and procedures are created and updated
• Ensures security of data, network access and backup systems and controls departmental
• Contributes to the cost-effective operation of the company by administering to IT functions within budgetary guidelines
• Participates in projects and business process reviews where required
• Participates in regular meetings with your supervisor to update on progress and debrief.

Qualifications

• A certification Preferred
• Prefer hotel industry and retail experience or working knowledge
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail
• Ability to adjust schedule based on business needs
• Ability to analyze, diagnose, replicate, troubleshoot, and resolve standard to highly complex technical issues
• Ability to plan, organize, and efficiently manage multiple projects
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Exceptional communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• 3 plus year of IT technical support experience
• Hotel and Restaurant systems IT experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required
