ResponsibilitiesRepair and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run at expected operational levels
Inspect forklifts; perform routine maintenance using checklists
Use variety of tools to include hand and power tools to include: hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches, and electrical testing devices
Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
Inspect , operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions
Record maintenance and repair work performed
Clean and lubricate moving parts of equipment and/or machinery
Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
Applicants should have experience working in a warehouse environment and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, powered industrial equipment and dock plates
RequirementsHigh school diploma required
Previous warehouse experience a plus
Must have a minimum of one years’ experience working in maintenance in a warehouse environment
Experience using tools wide range of hand and power tools based on safety regulations that have been established
Previous experience repairing equipment
Must be able to work in a team environment; good communications skills a must
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast past environment and change direction of tasks quickly
Must work in environment with variations in temperatures and be able to work for an entire shift
Ability to squat, push, pull and lift (up to 50 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodations
Perform all tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
