River Barrel Brewing, dba. Buoy Beer Co./ Pilot House Distilling, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (FT) to take ownership and pride in our craft beverages and our North Coast facilities. We’re a hard-working and growing operation and are looking for the right person to grow with us. The ideal candidate will be flexible, open to learning, have a sense of urgency, and can prioritize quickly based on business needs. Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Responsible for preventative maintenance routines
• Focus on equipment repairs in a timely and safe manner
• Involved with projects that involve the installation of new equipment
• Assist in developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and help develop future maintenance programs
• Execution of daily/weekly preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure the work environment is safe at all times
• Weekly cleaning and organization of maintenance shop
• Helping out other teams as needed (packaging, warehousing, etc.)

Job Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age

· Driver’s License and clean DMV

· Forklift experience, forklift Certification preferred

· Minimum of 3 years building maintenance and/or construction experience

· General electrical, HVAC, and plumbing experience

· Able to troubleshoot in a dynamic environment

· Available to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends, holidays, and nights

· Physically able to regularly lift, carry, reach, bend, crawl, and work in tight places

· Willing to work in various climates, in- and outdoors

· Take pride in our sustainable practices (recycling, waste reduction, etc.)

· Treat teammates with respect at all times

· Passionate about your work, the craft beverage industry, and our community

Experience in the following are considered a plus:

· Maintenance knowledge in Brewing, Beverage or Food Processing environment

· Experience with PLC automation and instrumentation

· Commercial brewing and packaging processes

· Rebuilding of motors and pumps

· Pneumatics and Hydraulics

· Welding experience

· Air compressor maintenance

· HVAC and refrigeration

· Boiler maintenance
