Bureau of Indian Affairs is Hiring a Program Specialist (Pathways). Near Indiana, PA

Duties
  • Support the planning and coordination of the Pathways Internship Program. Promotes the benefits of participating in the Pathways Internship Program by talent acquisition/placement outreach to meet human capital needs requirements. Manage special assignments to support goals and objectives.
  • Schedule and initiate contact with students to ensure tasks and steps within each phase are completed. Facilitate coordination of administrative requirements for student interns.
  • Monitor and track student's academic progress, developmental progress, and performance.
  • Coordinate critical and mandatory activities for planning work assignment placement details, consider host interns requests, and provide copies of completed packages to stakeholders.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series, GS-0301,
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing at least three of the five following type of work and/or tasks:Providing advice or guidance to students on program goals and objectives; developing methods for assessing and improving a student program. Ensuring program correspondence is prepared in accordance with proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and required formats; using basic accounting and budgeting procedures in order to maintain accurate budget information; accessing a variety of automated tools and management information systems and available software to develop records, prepare presentation and graphics; provide and request information; conduct fact-finding interviews; explain conclusions and recommendations.OR
EDUCATION: Masters or equivalent graduate degree OR Two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such adegree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
