- Maintain mammalian cell culture lines, clone selections, transfections
- Create cell line banks.
- Prepare media and other cell culture reagents.
- Perform strong aseptic techniques Exposure to operating and programming laboratory automation and liquid handling
- Update and maintain biological inventories.
- Perform experiment documentation (ELNs).
- Perform bioassays, biochemical assays, PBMC isolation
- Data analysis, presentation of data
- Assist in any troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
- Interact professionally with both internal and external clients
- Maintain a high level knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations
- Receive tasks and information from scientist in charge regarding changes in processes, priorities, workflow, safety requirements or other information.
- Meetings regularly with the scientist in charge to discuss progress, upcoming work changes, and any new items
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
- Remain flexible to ever-changing needs in a positive and professional manner
- Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Biology or related discipline
- 2-4 years of science industry or research experience
- Mammalian cell culture
- Biochemical and cell-based assay
- Strong interpersonal skills – written and oral communication, relationship building, being approachable, demonstrate initiative, adaptable, and project a positive attitude
- Must have an excellent foundation in technical problem solving to assist in trouble shooting, samples management, shipping, ordering, equipment or logistical issues
