Locally owned since 1952, Burgermaster is a family owned restaurant chain specializing in local, grass-fed beef burgers served drive-in style.

We strive to bring not only quality food, but beautiful plants and flowers for our customers to enjoy while they dine with us. We are looking for a part-time gardener to help us maintain our beautiful gardens and join our fun and hard-working team!

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitoring plant health and aesthetics in assigned ornamental beds and borders
• Transplanting, fertilizing, staking, shearing, watering, and all other activities in the care of the gardens
• Knowledge of irrigation
• Garden Design - New Garden design
• Pruning
• Weeding
• Maintenance/mulching/compost
• Hardscaping a plus
• Travel between locations to maintain the five Burgermaster restaurant garden areas
• Operate basic landscape maintenance tools and equipment, such Power tool usage/ backpack Blowers/ hedger/ weedwhacker and handheld pruners.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous garden experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods standing, walking, kneeling, and bending
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• This role will require physical labor including but not limited to digging and lifting
• Noise level is usually moderate

Hourly rate $20-23 per hour
