This position is open to any of our office locations in Akron, Cincinnati, Columbus, Painesville, OH, Parkersburg, WV or Norfolk, VA. B&N Instrumentation & Control Engineer Responsibilities
Applying best practices in SCADA design and implementation in the Water/Wastewater Industry.
Travel to client facilities to participate in field activities to assess and document the current state of installed control systems.
Coordinate with internal design staff and client staff to provide appropriate control systems design.
Provide selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipment.
Develop biddable and technically accurate SCADA / I&C construction documents including P&IDs, network architecture diagrams, control panel layouts and wiring diagrams, installation details, loop drawings, and technical specifications.
Develop PLC programs and HMI applications. Support system testing and commissioning activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited college or university
PE and ISA Certification are preferred not required
Five or more years of experience
Application of and compliance with National Electrical Code Experience with Networking, Cyber Security, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications
Strong communication skills, and ability to work with clients and colleagues is required.
