B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer Responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to the design of water/wastewater and utility infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, perform periodic site visits to observe construction, and perform field inspections, as needed
- Provide support for project managers and senior design engineers
- Be available to travel to other offices to provide support as needed
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
- EI/EIT certification with a desire to become a PE
- 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
