Responsibilities:
Reviews physician referrals, obtains and verifies information with patients and insurance companies. Coordinates daily scheduling of patients. Manages telephone and foot traffic of the outpatient clinic. Assists in management/correction of patient account workqueues. Coordinates with insurance verification specialist and billing departments to manage patient accounts.
Requirements:
High School Diploma and 1-2 years' college required. Previous experience in an outpatient business office required. Must have experience working with insurance carriers and verifying patient coverage. EPIC experience preferred. Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred. Must be able to work 4-5 Saturdays per year.
Work Schedule: 35 hours Monday - Friday, 7:30am -3:30pm
