**Overview**

If you want an exciting job with one of the largest off-price retailers in the nation, join the Burlington Stores, Inc. team as a **Mail Center Associate** in our New York Office! The Mailroom Associate will be responsible for managing the mail room and supporting the sample coordinator with sorting, distribution, and delivery of mail/packages to the corporate associates in our NYC office as well as preparing outbound shipments. Includes various administrative, physical, and labor-intensive tasks.

**A Day In The Life:**

Mail & package receipt/Internal and External Distribution

Outbound mail/package preparation

Record Retention filing, retrieval, and delivery

Sorting and delivering all inbound mail and packages.

Delivering office supplies, toner, paper, and water.

Fedex packages Sign off, scan and deliver packages within the New York office.

Partner daily with sample coordinator on all sample inbound and outbound processing; train on crossover responsibilities.

Process outbound mail & packages and drop off to designated area.

Pickup and delivery of record retention boxes.

**You'll Come With:**

High School Diploma or GED

Possession of a valid state drivers license is required.

At least one year of mail center, clerical, delivery, receiving, shipping, and storekeeping experience.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Know how to read and interpret charts and tables.

Must know how to operate a postage meter device.

Be able to safely lift and carry equipment, packages, and office supplies.

Be able to observe fully safe work as well as driving rules and practices.

Must be able to plan and prioritize work.

Able to communicate in a clear and tactful manner both verbally and in a written matter.

Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as department needs change throughout the day.

Knowledge of basic record keeping procedures.

Knowledge of FedEx, UPS and Pitney Bowes shipping and receiving systems.

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook; Word and Excel, Teams a plus.

Be able to work with limited supervision.

**Scope and Impact:**

As a mail center associate, must be able to guide New York office associates and work as a team to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities daily.
