Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will leverage your expertise in technology sales and customer service to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' needs. This position requires a proactive approach to outbound calling and a deep understanding of the market landscape.
Duties
- Conduct regular, in-person sales visits to customer locations.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to foster profitable sales growth.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all quotations to support customer service needs and document the outcomes of proposed solutions.
- Generate profitable sales orders and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain ethical, cooperative relationships with manufacturers in alignment with company and branch goals.
- Collaborate effectively with Inside Sales Associates, Counter Sales Associates, and Service Teams to ensure seamless customer service.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM to track and manage all sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals.
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Excellent customer service skills and proven experience in similar sales role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing sales processes effectively.
- Agriculture industry experience is a plus.
Position will be based out of the Burnips Equipment of Dorr location, covering Allegan, VanBuren, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, Cass, and Berrien counties.
This position will consist of a base salary and commission pay plan.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
