We are free standing birth center in Burr Ridge Illinois providing full -scope midwifery care. We strive to be birth equity-focused and welcoming to all families.

PRN positions available. Minimum requirement is six 12- hour call shifts per month, call taken from home.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Experience in intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal care
• Current BLS and NRP
• Aligned with BRBC philosophy
• Self-directed and committed to providing superior care and education to BRBC families and assisting the CNMs in the provision of care
• Able to arrive at the birth center within 45-60 minutes of being call in

FUNCTION

The RN / Birth Assistant provides care for the client and family during labor, birth and postpartum period at BRBC. The Birth Assistant may also participate in the provision of extended postpartum care, nurse visits, client education programs, community outreach, and center operations in collaboration with the Administrative and/or Director of Midwifery.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
