Job Title: Certified Peer Specialist
Location: Columbia, Missouri
Department: Behavioral Crisis Center
Employment Type: Part-time (12 hours per week)
Shift: Saturday overnight (7pm-7am)
Job Summary:
Join our team at Burrell's Behavioral Crisis Center in Columbia, Missouri, and become an integral part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing rapid access to mental health services. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals in crisis recover from alcohol and drug dependencies, and achieve their goals.
As a Certified Peer Specialist, you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals on their path to recovery. Sharing your personal experience and knowledge, you'll inspire hope, validate progress, and celebrate successes. You'll also assist clients in identifying their strengths, developing coping strategies, and connecting them with valuable community resources.
