Burroughs Inc is Hiring a Director of Business Development Near Elmhurst, IL

Job Summary:
The Director of Business Development directs and coordinates all activities of sales and reporting functions in accordance with established policies, practices and plans. This position is responsible for achieving sales and company objectives by performing duties personally and through subordinates and/or subcontractors.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, plan and oversee administration of all sales communication activities, including forecasting, reporting, training for field reps and a focus on business development.
  • Overall focus on developing internal methodologies, strategies and processes to streamline all sales/business development activities and go to market strategies.
  • Creation of targeted Sales/Marketing campaigns to help meet and exceed company sales and revenue objectives.
  • Support of the Sales department in regards to all internal and external functions, including proposals, pricing, and all customer facing documentation.
  • Hubspot maintenance and restructure where needed.
  • Oversight and participation in training for field sales teams around all Go Core and new business initiatives.
  • CRM utilization and management in regards to marketing to existing clients and prospects (currently use Hubspot).
  • Instill and nurture a customer-oriented culture. Create a proven, repeatable process for all sales teams to execute for our clients and scale with ease.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop and cell phone.
  • This job requires some travel to attend trainings, QBR’s, customer and internal meetings

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a Four-Year college or university
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Standard Microsoft applications, including Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred
