CAD Drafter / Document Control Specialist

About the Role:

At Burrow Global, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering services through detailed technical knowledge and precise document control. Under comprehensive instructions and review, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical drawings and equipment records, contributing significantly to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and maintain accurate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other technical documents.
• Manage document control processes, ensuring timely updates and distribution of technical documents.
• Identify and differentiate between P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), electrical drawings, and equipment data sheets.
• Review and verify the accuracy of proposed changes to P&IDs and other related documents.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure documentation meets project requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in P&IDs and document control.
• Education: Associate degree in drafting or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, as well as learning new software tools.
• Document Control: Strong understanding of document control processes and standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills to verify the accuracy of technical documents.
• Ability to adapt and learn new software and tools relevant to document control and drafting.
