Burtch Works is working on an exciting Business Data Analyst role with a premier client in the Chicagoland area for a long term contract need.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide primary user support and administration to internal and external business partners through business requirements, documentation, enhancements, and implementation to ensure system stability and data accuracy.
• Support Merchandising, MP&I, and Ecommerce use of the Merchandise system to ensure proper functionality, data integrity, and accurate results. Play a key role in defining system settings to ensure optimal system performance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in collaboration with IT and other Merch Ops centers of excellence.
• Manage the administration of the Merchandise system, including reviewing and implementing changes in system parameters and formats, and coordinating and/or modifying system parameters, improvements, and/or enhancements.
• Address daily work tickets for the Master Data team, including invoice-related issues (VIM). Resolve tickets or escalate to appropriate team members while maintaining a 3-day ticket SLA.
• Implement consistent processes and resolutions for daily work tickets while adhering to SLA.
• Assist the Master Data team to ensure correct, consistent, and complete Master Data that adheres to enterprise data governance fundamentals.
• Participate in UAT and troubleshooting of various systems, including SAP and PIM.
• Support and assist business partners by providing coordination and assistance, such as interpretation of requirements, troubleshooting, and system definition.
• Exhibit attention to detail and the ability to make connections between multiple topics.
• Demonstrate the ability to investigate, problem solve, and identify root causes of issues.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of one to two years of direct work experience in business analysis, process improvement/best practices, or the ability to demonstrate knowledge of best practices.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Merchandising, Ecommerce, Omni-Channel, and Supply Chain systems and processes.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines while utilizing analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Retail business background with strong process and systems acumen.
• Expertise in identifying opportunities for change and conveying the need for change.
• Applied knowledge of applications development methodologies (SDLC).
• Preferred experience with SAP (S4 would be a plus).
• Preferred experience with PIM/PXM systems.
