Burton Attorneys at Law is Hiring a Remote Associate Attorney (Part-Time/Full-Time/Remote)

We are growing and need experienced attorneys at our family law focused firm. We're looking for an attorney with experience in family law, with strong communication and written skills. You should be able to work well in a team setting. Client care is very important to us, and we expect our attorneys to have frequent, quality communication with our clients and support staff. We need someone who can hit the ground running, and take initiative. We're an awesome team to be a part of, here is some of what we offer:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Drafting of case documents, such as court pleadings
  • Legal research
  • Initial consultations with clients
  • Court appearances
  • Leading case team

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be skilled in the following areas:
  • Client care
  • Court litigation
  • Prioritization of work load
  • Anticipation of staff and client needs
  • Case management throughout litigation process
  • Production of documents
  • Legal research and writing
  • Use of common software programs
  • Trial preparation
  • Verbal and written communication

Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to type on a computer and speak on the phone
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel for case or firm related need
  • Active Utah State Bar Licensure

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
