This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive cost control guidance and support for Project Managers and their teams, ensuring the financial health and progress of our diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cost Control Analyst, you will be the linchpin in managing and overseeing the cost elements of multiple projects simultaneously. You will:

• Deliver "Total Cost Control" guidance and governance to project teams, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and more.
• Collaborate with schedule control counterparts to synchronize project timelines and financial goals.
• Implement and uphold Project Control processes and procedures, including Baselining, Change Management, Risk assessments, Lifecycle Stage Gates, and Reporting.
• Generate detailed and high-level financial reports for various stakeholders, from local teams to senior executives and the Board of Directors.
• Engage in monthly cost/cash flow forecast reviews with Project Managers to maintain project financial integrity.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to proactively identify and mitigate cost risks.
• Foster continuous communication with project teams to address and resolve cost-related issues promptly.
• Participate in vendor meetings to stay abreast of project developments and budget impacts.

We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in cost management and project controls within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 10 years in cost management and project controls, preferably in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Power industries.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited university (preferred).
• Certified Cost Engineer (AACE's CCC/CCE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Power BI, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical skills to understand and improve workflows across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction disciplines.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage a heavy workload, supporting 10 or more concurrent projects effectively.
• Experience working with dispersed teams and contributing to group success with limited supervision.
