Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support to medical staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
- Experience in geriatrics, acute care, or nursing home settings preferred
- Understanding of physiology and medical terminology
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with dementia care practices
