Job description

Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.

Specific Description:

Support operations in the areas of packaging, handling, storage, transportation, receiving, and inventory management. Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order; inspects articles and rejects defective ones. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. This job will be located offsite at the Depot Support Facility (Tradeport Drive), Orlando Fl.

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Safety shoes

• Experience using a forklift and/or pallet stacker

• Prior warehousing experience

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)

• Able to work effectively in a team environment

• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

• Valid U.S. driver’s license

• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical

• Ability to pass a transportation examination

• Ability to operate a box truck with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 lbs. (non-CDL) with 40 lbs. lift gate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $12.81 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
