Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling various components by utilizing your expertise in soldering, mechanical knowledge, electrical wiring, PCB handling, and operating power and hand tools. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret schematics will be essential in ensuring the quality and precision of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Utilize soldering techniques to join parts effectively
- Handle electrical wiring tasks with precision and care
- Work with PCBs following best practices for assembly
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Use ohmmeters and calipers to measure and verify component specifications
- Interpret schematics to guide assembly processes accurately
Requirements:
-Performs high volume solder assembly work to IPC class 3 specifications.
-The use of a microscope or magnification may be required,
-Assembler must have had experience with through hole soldering techniques IPC 610/620.
-Must have experience in an ESD environment, and use of chemicals to aid in cleaning.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
