Interior Design Assistant Category: Interior Design Location: San Francisco Job Description LDI is currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic and creative individual who is self-driven, detail-oriented and able to work well in a dynamic office environment. This individual will assist and facilitate the design studios project visions.
We are a collaborative group and value both creative skills as well as organizational skills; the right person for this position has a can-do attitude coupled with a personality that takes the initiative and wants to work in a dedicated, design-focused environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in AutoCAD drawing of design proposals and construction documentation
Assist with preparation of client presentations
Prepare and maintain client samples, documentation and computer files
Assist with pricing, preparation of quotes, purchase orders and expediting
General design office duties such as: organizing and maintaining resource library, project and library errands, answering phones
Support designers as needed
Job Requirements Requirements include:
Proficiency in Studio Webware, AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe Suite
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills along with a great attitude
A degree from an accredited design school. BFA in Interior Design is desirable.
