Interior Designer Category: Interior Design Location: New York Job Description NYC based boutique residential design firm seeks interior designer. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute in a meaningful way to the firms large scale projects and in turn grow in their career as a designer. We are looking for an individual experienced in all aspects of the interior design process including creating detailed drawings, sourcing and project management.
Job Requirements - Proactive, motivated and positive
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Understanding of distinct design programs and how to contribute with sourcing selections
- Sourcing via design showrooms, online, etc.
- Ability to create inspiring and organized storyboards
- Complete all aspects of the specification process (sourcing, quoting, proposals, etc.)
- Attend site visits, installations as needed
- Experience working with GC's and other vendor partners to manage construction and installation process
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
This position is in office, in the field and may be remote when the business allows.
