Junior Interior Designer Location: Rockville Job Description Kristin Peake Interiors is looking for a creative and highly motivated Junior Interior Designer to add to our team. If you have an amazing attention to detail, we want you! The person should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the industry. The right person must have an extremely high level of discretion as many of our clients want their homes kept private. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask. This person must be willing to learn all aspects of a project from client conceptual meetings to the final install. It would be a bonus if the person could space plan, do design development, research, source, order and have excellent follow up skills. Job Requirements ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

1-2 years experience in the industry.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Interior Design program.

Background checks are required for working with some of our clients.

CAD and/or Revit skills needed.

Knowledge of Studio Designer preferred.

A basic knowledge of product and the market.

Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with a team and individually.

Must have excellent time management skills.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while still keeping your cool and concentration.

Attention to detail is the most important aspect of this position.

There is also an in person interview process that could the better take part of a day.

About our Company Kristin Peake Interiors was started over 20 years ago. The owner has over 27 years of experience in the industry. The firm specializes in attention to detail at every level. KPI is a small boutique firm with two offices. We do work all over the country. A large majority of our projects are returning or direct referred clients, so our reputation and client relationships are extremely important.
