Senior Interior Designer Location: Palm Beach Job Description We are seeking an organized self-motivated individual with 5 years of relevant experience to manage and design projects from concept to installation, for a fast-paced residential interior design firm. This position would be ideal for a person with a successful track record of managing large-scale projects and open communication with clients. It is necessary for the designer to have a full understanding of the design/construction process, the ability to manage multiple projects, and to be proficient in CAD or hand-drawn spacial planning. Professional portfolio required.

Job Requirements Sophisticated eye for design development: color palette, material, and furnishing selections.

Ability to read and intercept architectural drawings and specifications.

Strong ability to focus attention to detail.

Develop and monitor the schedule for each project, with regard to cost and timeline through installation.

Assist in presentations to clients.

Work closely and communicate effectively and efficiently with the client, design assistants, and principal designer regarding progress and changes/adjustments to budget or schedule.

Take initiative in problem-solving for projects.

Liaison between firm and client with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

On-site supervision throughout projects.

Computer literate in excel and word.

Knowledge of Design Manager is a plus.

Development of custom pieces is a plus.

Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
