Senior Interior Designer Location: Rockville Job Description Kristin Peake Interiors is looking for a creative and highly motivated individual to add to our team. The person must have at least 7 years of interior design work experience. The right person must have an extremely high level of discretion as many of our clients want their homes to be kept private. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask, but also be able to do all aspects of the business and see things through completion. The ability to manage all phases and aspects of a project from client conceptual meetings through construction and installation is a must. Additionally, the person would be able to space plan, do design development, research, source, order and follow up on product. We are looking for the right person to add to our already great team. This person needs to possess strong leadership and mentoring skills. The right fit and the right person is who we are looking for. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, bonuses determined by owner annually, 401K and matching, paid holidays, many other perks and benefits, for the right person there could be an opportunity for future ownership.

KPI has clients all over the United States. We have a second office in Kiawah, SC.

Job Requirements ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

At least 7 years experience.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Interior design program.

Background checks are required for working with some of our clients.

CAD and/or Revit skills.

Knowledge of Studio Designer preferred.

An extensive knowledge of product and the market.

Must have a design style and taste that matches or is equivalent to that of KPI.

Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with a team and individually.

Must have excellent time management skills.

Must be able to work in a fast paced sometimes stressful work environment while still keeping your cool and concentration.

Attention to detail could be the most important aspect of this position.

There is an in-person interview process that could take the better part of a day.
