Due to recent Federal Government announcements regarding the 2024 National Defence Strategy and the Australian, UK and US (AUKUS) alliance, change in Defence posture and recent world events, there is an unprecedented demand for security cleared skilled resources.

Australia is about to embark on one the biggest upskilling and resourcing activities since the Snowy Hydro Project as we equip and modernise Defence capabilities.

Are you a skilled in Commercial Management and/or Complex Procurement? We have a number of opportunities available which are located in both Sydney and Canberra.

Have you previously undertaken some or all of the following:

• Managed and co-ordinated resources to deliver according to deadlines;
• Liaised with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic, political and operational outcomes;
• Provided commercial support to Defence capabilities above the line;
• Has previous experience in ASDEFCON suite of contracting templates;
• Previous experience in conducting whole of Government contracting;
• Undertaken simple and complex procurement activities;
• Has experience in drafting and developing documentation (Contract Management plans, Commercial Strategies, Procurement Plans and Change proposals);
• Has previous experience in providing commercial advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders;
• Assisted in the development of tender negotiations;
• Has experience in end-to-end complex procurement process in a CASG environment;

You Must Have

Citizenship: Australian Citizen

AGSVA Security Clearance: NV1 or higher

Formal qualifications in complex procurement, commercial law or a related field
