Plan, direct, or coordinate one or more administrative services of an organization, such as records and information management, mail distribution, facilities planning and maintenance, custodial operations, and other office support services. Applicant must have experience working in a licensed childcare facility. Applicant must be familiar with Texas Child Care Licensing Regulations. Applicants must work well with others, including children, parents, teachers, and support staff. Applicant must be able to supervise and manage staff locations and building needs. Applicant must be able to handle incoming calls, registrations, tours, in-process new families, assist teachers when necessary, and conduct observations when needed. Applicant must be able to communicate with the executive director and conduct monthly staff meetings. Applicant must be familiar with Texas Rising Star accreditation. Applicant must possess a combination of leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Possess a natural ability to lead others, able to delegate tasks, In addition to these core qualities, an effective Child Care Assistant/Supervisor should also demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine love for working with children and families.
