Compounding Pharmacy Intern – Family Pharmacy the Nation’s leading triple accredited compounding pharmacy is looking for part time and full-time compounding pharmacy interns to join their winning team.

Serious candidates shall only apply that have compounding experience and/or have a strong desire to learn advanced nonsterile compounding skills.

The pharmacy works with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals to create innovative pharmacological solutions. In addition to the ongoing development of treatment strategies for specialized healthcare needs, the diverse products and scope of services span multiple major medical specialties including but not limited to: Hormone Replacement, Dermatology, Weight Loss, Age Management, Wellness, Pain Management, Wound Care, Custom Pharmacy, Veterinary, and Dentistry.

Compounding Internship Highlights

• Become familiar and work towards proficiency in the practice of compounding according to USP 795 guidelines;
• Learn USP 795 rules and regulations;
• Learn pharmacy nutrition and wellness and counseling;
• Participate in PCAB accreditation activities as required;
• Assist with development of new compound product and formulations;
• Learn compounding inventory management;
• Participate in Medication Therapy Management activities;
• Provide advisory on medications and pharmacy regulations;
• Assist with writing pharmacy blogs and articles and;
• Learn about pharmacy marketing and sales practices.

Qualified candidates must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school; recent pharmacy graduate; current/clear Florida intern license; desire to learn new processes/procedures; work in a team environment with professionals and non-professional staff members; be self-motivated and take initiative; have technical ability, analytical ability, and decisive judgment.
