Who You Are:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at buybuy BABY. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a tidy and organized store, and contributing to the overall success of our brand.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide personalized assistance and advice to customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Proactively engage with customers to promote products and achieve sales targets.
• Knowledgeably communicate information about current promotions, discounts, and product features.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a visually appealing and organized store layout.
• Assist with restocking shelves, folding clothes, and arranging displays to showcase merchandise effectively.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels to support stock replenishment efforts.
• Educate customers on the features and benefits of various products.
• Continuously update knowledge of store policies, procedures, and promotions.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth flow of operations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, and reach to perform tasks.

Available Shifts:

• Monday-Friday, and rotating weekends
• Morning, day, evening, and night shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.10 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
