As the Demand Planner / Buyer, you will work cross-functionally to support the entire company. You will use historical data and collaboration to drive demand forecasting for a growing multi-channel business. We are an ecommerce centric brand but are growing exponentially in retail and wholesale channels. You will be responsible for optimizing ecom while helping to build retail and wholesale. You will be responsible for collecting demand and purchasing all BYLT inventory to support business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with all channel owners (ecom, retail, wholesale) to collect inventory needs
• Forecast demand for all channels ranging from the department, category, style, product and size level
• Participate in and eventually lead weekly recaps with both product and marketing teams
• Maintain and improve current Open-To-Buy process and help build sales and receipts plans
• Help manage inventory providing insights to slow moving clogs and overpacing positions, willingness to work with the team on inventory strategies
• Open and supportive communication to the team, willing to learn and work together to push growth
• Scaleable and concise tool building to provide efficiencies and visibility to the business
• Positively collaborate closely with both direct teammates in finance, production and analytics as well as other product and marketing departments
• Build and maintain seasonal buy plans while also executing quickly on inventory chase purchasing
• Follow and execute on important product calendar dates
• Keep inventory optimized and in stock, keeping a close eye on replenishment of key top sellers

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:

• 2 years of experience in forecasting, planning, buying, &/or demand planning in a multi-channel international environment preferred
• Highly organized and strong prioritization skills
• Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment – flexible as day to day may change
• Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency
• Apparel industry experience preferred
• Team player with a motivated entrepreneurial spirit
• Proficient in Excel, Business Intelligence experience a plus
