Description:

The Paralegal will be responsible for gathering, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys. This position operates under the direct supervision of the Director of People Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication abilities. Attention to detail and professionalism are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, such as agreements, letters, and memos, under attorney supervision.

• Review, prepare, and file documents with attorney supervision.

• Assist with entity formations.

• Format and final set documents.

• Perform Secretary of State searches, Corsearch trademark reports, and other research as requested.

• Communicate with clients in-person, through email, and by telephone.

• Track deadlines and proactively provide updates to both clients and attorneys.

• Assist with the preparation of corporate books.

• Attend business development events as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Paralegal certificate is required.

• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize workload under pressure.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Reliable, professional, with a strong sense of confidentiality and sound judgment.

• Preferred: Two years of experience in a professional administrative role.

• Law firm experience is not necessary.
