KMA, S.C. is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Madison, WI

We continue to grow at KMA Management! As we keep growing, we are looking to add a high-quality Collections Specialist to our firm. In this position you would be the main person responsible for maintaining client relationships while getting outstanding balances up to date.

KMA Management LLC is a progressive, mid-sized Certified Public Accounting Firm. Our headquarters is located at 1200 John Q. Hammons Drive, Suite 500, Madison, WI 53717, with an additional office in downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze accounts receivable on a client level, reach out to client contacts to ensure timely payments of outstanding invoices, successfully resolve difficult-to-collect receivables
  • Provide firm management with information and action plans regarding client payment trends, risks, and challenges
  • Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while maintaining and improving customer relations
  • Resolve client-billing problems and rescue accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner
  • Handle various correspondence to clients to encourage payment of delinquent accounts, which include but are not limited to phone calls, mailing reminder statements, faxes, and email correspondence while maintaining a professional representation of the firm
  • Regularly communicate with Legal Counsel regarding efforts and status of past due accounts
  • Record information about the financial status of clients and the status of efforts

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of collections experience including interaction with a large customer base
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Strong understanding of math, finance, and billing cycles
  • Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency

Pay: $20.50 - $24.50 per hour
