- Porgram development grades 7-12, lends support to the Activities Department and to the vision and mission of the district.
- Assists in mentoring assistant coach.
- Directs pre-season meetings with parents, athletes and coaches as well as in-season staff and athlete meetings.
- Coordinate ordering of Dance items and any fundraisers.
- Must be able to relate to student-athletes in a positive manner and be a good role model.
- Minnesota Department of Education valid coaching certification or valid certificate from the National Federsation of Coaches Education Program or the willingness to obtain certification prior to the start of the season.
- Experience as a coach or as a participant in the sport.
- Builder of strong, positive relationships with all stakeholder groups, including collaboration between the Byron Dance and Byron Booster Club.
- High energy, innovative, and an effective communicator.
- Caring role model, excellent knowledge of the game and skills.
- Believes that all athletes can attain high levels of play.
- Possesses the knowledge and skills to build effective educational eperiences that benefit all students.
- Functions as an effective member of the educational/school team.
- Possessses a growth-mindset, strong listening skills, and provides atheltes opportunities to be involved in the community.
