Summary & Purpose
Primary purpose of the Workforce Development Coordinator is to provide oversight and coordination of programs to enhance the workforce development as directed/instructed in accordance with established Team Engagement policies and procedures governing Byron Wellness communities as well with federal, state and local regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Coordinates and manages all logistics for LAUNCH program including coordinating with high school guidance counselors, students, and Byron leadership team to ensure program is productive and experiential for all involved. This includes weekly departmental assignment for the students, a minimum of weekly check-in/check-out with students and staff, required documentation of attendance via payroll system and program completion every semester.
•Coordinates and manages logistics for internships. This includes coordinating with respective departments and students to ensure program is meeting outlines goals.
•Coordinates and manages logistics for CNA dually accredited program with students and instructors.
•Ensure that the training and assessment programs are consistent with Byron guidelines and procedures as well as requirement of the Indiana Department of Education.
•Coordinates and manages clinical rotations for various organizations along with Director of Nursing and Staffing Coordinator.
•Coordinates and manages the scheduling and logistics of annual dementia training.
•Coordinates and manages the scheduling and logistics of First Aid and CPR training.
•Interface with required online documentation from the various school systems we work with for both the LAUNCH and CNA programs.
•Maintains working and active relationship with Byron Executive Team to ensure development programs are consistent with overall Byron Wellness Community initiatives.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
•Modeling Byron Wellness Community cultural expectations to fellow team members.
•Must possess, as a minimum, an associate's degree.
•Two years of relevant work experience.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee and resident care information.
•Excellent computer skills.
•Ability to operate office equipment.
•Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary Description

$20-$25/hr.
