Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of products and materials. Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and accurately record receipt of goods.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report any issues to management.
• Organize and maintain inventory of products and materials in designated storage areas.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly labeled and securely packed.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Generate shipping labels, invoices, and other necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels using computerized systems.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately inspect and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software for inventory management and shipping (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
